Hendren Law Firm is hiring for a full time legal secretary with experience in Alabama Courts. The job is at The Wharf. The Legal Secretary will be working for one attorney. The office hours are Monday-Friday. Knowledge and experience with
1. Alafile,
2. Alacourt,
3. CLIO,
4. word and Dropbox
5. drafting documents for Court,
6. keeping the Attorney’s calendar,
7. setting up litigation files,
8. Must be comfortable interviewing and talking verbally to clients, prospective clients, court staff, etc.
9. Must have experience with family law, criminal defense, motor vehicle collision litigation; and other general civil litigation cases.
The firm is looking for a qualified legal secretary that is self motivated and an independent thinker as the attorney will be out of the office in Court generally more than in the office. Pay will be based on actual years of experience. Candidates should be prepared to supply neutral references.
